WHS Lacrosse - Girls and Boys Lacrosse Youth Camp

This year was WHS's 1st year of having a Boys B Team & our 5th year for both Boys JV & Varsity Lacrosse. We are continuing to grow our sport and would like to offer an introductory level, non contact lacrosse camp for boys in grades 2 - 8. We were proud to see several former campers play B Team & JV this season! This is a great way for your son to get tips from All-Grand Strand, All-State, and US Lacrosse All Academic players! We also have a professional lacrosse player and Lower State Coach of the Year on staff as well! No experience is necessary as camp instruction will cover fundamentals of the sport. All participants will receive a t-shirt for attending and have the option of purchasing a stick. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of team equipment for the 2018-19 season.

Our summer camp fundraiser is now live. Please share with any boy currently in grades 2-8 who you think might be interested. All players will receive a t shirt with the option to buy a stick. More importantly, they have an opportunity to make new friends, build confidence, and learn lacrosse skills.

FAQ:
Q - Do campers have to attend the camp full time in order to register?
A - They don't have to attend full time in order to sign-up. We understand it is summer and families are busy.

Q - Is this for boys only? In the past it was open to girls too?
A - Our camp has grown in numbers to where we needed to separate. For girls camp info contact Coach Flewelling - SFlewelling@gcsd.k12.sc.us

Q - Can we register if we don't have a stick?
A - We will have sticks that campers can use during camp if they don't own one. We will also allow campers to purchase sticks during camp if they would like to keep one to practice with.
